University of Glasgow International Summer School – Applications Open

The University of Glasgow’s International Summer School is now open for applications! We have courses in medicine, literature, psychology, creative writing and more! Visit our webpages to explore courses and start your application.
Applications for chemistry, psychology, and life science research will open in late February. We’ll email you when they open, but places on these courses will be extremely limited.
How to apply
Go to your chosen course webpage and click Apply now at the top right. Register and complete the application. We’ll email you to confirm once your application is received. When applying, you’ll be asked to upload documents, so please have these ready to prevent delays with your application:
- Your most recent official transcript. We'd usually expect this to be signed and/or stamped by your University.
- Proof of your English language qualification (if English is not your first language)

Social & cultural programme
Your tuition fee includes a weekly social & cultural programme and one weekend day trip to a tourist attraction. A highlight will be the traditional Scottish ceilidh, a night filled with dancing and live music! The programme is a great way to meet new people from around the world, whilst experiencing Scottish culture.
Accommodation
All summer school students are guaranteed a place in our affordable university accommodation. You’ll stay with fellow summer school students, making it easy to make friends, in single rooms with shared kitchen/living areas and bathrooms. Costs are listed on each course page.
Students from University of Glasgow partner institutions receive a 10% tuition fee discount.
