Aide financière

Dans le cadre de son dispositif de soutien Unistra, la Direction des Relations Internationales propose une aide financière aux étudiants de l'Université de Strasbourg désirant partir en mobilité dans le cadre d'un programme court en Europe (ex: école d'été ou séjour linguistique).


Le montant de cette aide financière est de 50 €.

Bayreuth Summer School

Warm greetings from the University of Bayreuth in Germany! Our International Summer School will take place from 06 July to 17 July.

Birmingham Summer School


The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce that applications are open for the International Summer School 2020. It is an excellent opportunity for international students to study at one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK and to experience British culture.
All programmes are delivered by University faculty who are experts in their field. Where programmes are formally assessed students will have the opportunity to earn credits for their study. Students will also have the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the fascinating culture of Britain through an extensive social programme.
 
 
There are seven programmes on offer in 2020:

English Language: Communicating with Confidence
Film and Media
Global Environmental Issues
Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series Analysis
The Biomedical Science Global Challenge


The programme dates of the International Summer School are: 20 July–7 August 2020.

To recognise the highly-valued relationships between Birmingham and our international partners, we would like to offer £150 discount towards the programme fees for your students who are eligible for BISS. Students attending universities in the Universitas 21 Network are offered a discount of £250 (please note this may not be used in conjunction with the partner discount). All students can also benefit from the early application discount of £150 should they apply by 1 March 2020.


Applications for BISS are now open and can be submitted online, by the deadline of 19 April 2020.

Colombia Summer Program in Leiden

Leiden Law School is pleased to inform you about our annual Columbia Summer Program in American law. Our four week Summer Program is taught by distinguished Professors from Columbia University, New York, providing students and professionals the opportunity to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the core principles of American law.

This year, our Summer Program will be organized from 6 July until 31 July 2020 in the picturesque Dutch city of Leiden.

Exeter University Summer School

Our International Summer School provides students with the opportunity to experience studying the UK at a top institution for up to 15 ECTS/8 US credits in a variety of disciplines. Our courses range from literature to clinical psychology and are listed below. All courses are taught by University of Exeter faculty with field trips as far afield as Stratford upon Avon and external specialists brought in by our faculty in a variety of roles such as engineers for the Meteorological Office of the UK.

In July 2020 we will be running the following courses:

·         Adapting Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to Improve Access to Psychological Therapies

·         Britain and the Making of the Modern World

·         Contract Law

·         Global Climate Change: Environment, Technology, and the Society

·         Global Enterprise

·         Human Rights Law

·         International Relations: Security, Conflict and Peace

·         Preventative Medicine: Exercise and the Environment

·         Rethinking Shakespeare

·         Victorian Evolutions and Revolutions

Our International Summer School will run from 28th June until 19th July and will include an orientation trip to London, on campus self-catered accommodation, all programme transport including airport transfers and an exciting social programme as well as our engaging academic programme.

As the first five days will be spent in London and then an introductory day in Exeter, if there are students who cannot make it to the UK in late June, we are happy to arrange a separate airport transfer to allow them to join us a few days in to the programme. This may come at a small extra cost, dependant on location.

The price of our programme is £2,400 for one module or £3,150 for two modules studied over the three weeks.

Freie Universität Berlin - International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS)

FUBiS is an intensive academic program through which students can earn credits that may be counted toward their degrees at their home institutions.
FUBiS offers small class sizes and distinguished faculty set on delivering the highest academic quality.

FUBiS terms run for 3 to 6 weeks and take place both in summer and winter:

  • Term I: January (3 weeks)
  • Term II: Late May / early June to mid-July (6 weeks)
  • Term III: Mid-July to mid-August (4 weeks)

FUBiS offers:

  • 3 Intensive German language courses
  • 3 Semi-intensive German language courses
  • 3 Subject classes in English and German

Registration:

Students can register online at www.fubis.org. Registration for Term I opens in August each year and for Term II and III in November. Program spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Requirements:

Students must be at least 18 years old and should have completed their first year at college or university.
Please note that credits can only be awarded if participants are currently or have been enrolled at a college or university.

Scholarships for International Summer Courses (German) for Students / Doctoral Researchers from Partner Universities of Heinrich Heine University (HHU)  Call for Proposals - Heinrich Heine University (HHU)

Who is eligible?

Bachelor- and Master students as well as doctoral researchers enrolled at a university abroad with which a Cooperation Agreement exists either at university, faculty, department or Erasmus level.

What is the objective of the scholarship?

The strengthening of international partnerships in all faculties through the exchange of students/doctoral researchers. Students from partner universities can improve their German language skills and get to know Heinrich Heine University.

Leicester Summer School

This year, the University of Leicester’s Centre for International Training and Education will be running its exciting collection of International Summer Programmes. Our 3-week programmes combine general and academic English classes with subject-specific content, as well as providing a varied social programme where students from across the courses will meet and socialise together.  

Students from partners institutions will benefit from the partnership fee of £1850.

ENGLISH FOR BUSINESS  13 - 31 JULY 2020

This course is ideal for students who want to develop their English use in a business context. As well as everyday and academic English classes, students get the chance to hone their commercial skills through a practical project.

The course also includes site visits to local businesses to gain an understanding of business practice in the UK and a taster seminar by a lecturer from the School of Business. Participants on this programme should have an English level equivalent to IELTS 4.5.

ENGLISH FOR LAW 13 - 31 JULY 2020

Immerse yourself in the British Legal System with seminars on Company and Human Rights Law. Visit important legal institutions, such as the Houses of Parliament, Crown Court and Magistrates Court.

The English for Law International summer Programme is ideal for students who want to improve their English, with a focus on the legal profession. Participants on this programme are expected to have a minimum English level of IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.

LEICESTER DISCOVERY 3 – 21 AUGUST 2020

This course is aimed at students with an intermediate level of English. You will gain new English language and academic skills whilst learning about British life and culture. Experience the life of a student at a British university.

Participants on this programme are expected to have a minimum English level of IELTS 4.0, or equivalent.

Linköping Summer School

We are very happy to announce our 5th annual Linköping University Summer Academy, that will take place between 26th June and 25th July 2020.

The programme will give students an opportunity to study in Linköping, Sweden, for four weeks during the summer. They get to choose from a number of high-quality courses and gain cultural insights together with other students from our international partner universities all around the globe.

 

All courses are at bachelor's level, credit bearing (7.5 ECTS), will be taught in English and are full-time. For students from LiU’s partner universities the LiU Summer Academy is tuition free.

 

The LiU Summer Academy provides a possibility for short term exchange within the framework of our existing exchange agreement. Students who have completed 1 year full-time studies (successfully passed 60 ECTS credits or equivalent upon application) and have a good command of English as stated in our agreement are eligible to all courses. We apply a quota of Summer Academy places and semester places on the basis of 4:1.

 

We are striving for a good mix of students and partner universities are welcome to nominate a maximum of 5 students per course.

 

The admission application deadline is 25th March, 2020 (midnight CET).

To apply the student needs a transcript showing 60 ECTS or equivalent passed, as well as a nomination certificate, signed and stamped by their international coordinator.

 

Along with lectures and course work, we will also organize an interesting and fun social programme in cooperation with our student hosts.

 

Housing will be provided; a completely furnished single room with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. We have an Accommodation package (including rent, bed linen, Internet Access, a regional bus pass , a gym membership and a final room cleaning) for 5500 SEK.

Masaryk University Summer School

Masaryk University’s long tradition (over 15 years) of hosting summer schools has culminated in a large variety of offerings, as well as excellent services to our students. The deadlines to apply for many programsare as early as February 15.

The programs range from science internships in our world renowned research center, to a literature course where students have the opportunity to meet with 9 celebrated authors as part of the largest literary festival in Central Europe. From a medical summer school where students are able to “get their hands dirty” dissecting real cadaverous material to learning about threats to global security.

UAM Summer School

After 4 very successful editions, totaling 111 students from 25 countries, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is once again offering its "Summer School of Economics and Business"
