Le cours consiste en une introduction au droit constitutionnel britannique. Après avoir présenté la notion particulière de constitution et ses sources, les principes fondamentaux du constitutionnalisme britannique (suprématie du Parlement, séparation des pouvoirs et rule of law) seront étudiés. La composition et les fonctions du Parlement seront présentées ainsi que le processus de dévolution.

The course is an introduction to UK constitutional Law. The lectures will start with an analysis of the peculiar nature of the UK constitution and its sources. Fundamental principles of British constitutionalism will then be studied (parliamentary supremacy, separation of powers and the rule of law). The composition and function of Parliament and the process of devolution will also be examined.
